Thekkady

Thekkady (Idukki district) is the location of the Periyar National Park, which is an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India.

Close to Thekkady there are some important for the tourists places of interest. The Murikkady, a place of spices and coffe's plantations; about 15 km far from Thekkady we can find the Chellar Kovil, full of waterfalls and cascades; the Mangala Devi Temple is about 15 km far from the city of Thekkady and it is surrounding of a lush vegetation and forests. From the temple the tourist can enjoy of a spectacular view.
