Selamat Datang! Upon your arrival at the Jogjakarta airport, Meet and greet at the airport by our guide, immediately transfer to Yogyakarta (approximately 2 hours)

Check-in at hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Breakfast is served at the hotel, start the day visiting a local village which portray traditional Javanese life, explore this lovely village on horsecart, passing traditional houses, meet friendly locals and their traditional cottage industry. Learn how to play Javanese instrument (Gamelan) is one of the highlight. Lunch will be provided at local restaurant on the way to Borobudur. After lunch, visit the magnificent Borobudur Temple. The largest Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Sites, built by Syailendra Dynasty in 9th century. Learn the story of Buddha’s life and His teachings beautifully sculptured on its walls and balustrades. 

Breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a discovery tour of this cultural town, first let’s how morning scene of vibrant Beringhardjo Market is, follow the guide as you stroll amongst colorful stalls and lanes, walk further to Sultan’s Palace, built in 1755 where the Sultan of Yogyakarta who is also Governor of the Province still resides. Visit the museums and gallery displaying royal artifacts, if time allows, there are cultural performance at the pavillion (subject to change). Next we will continue to visit Taman Sari, ruins of Water Castle (Royal Pleasure Garden built by 1st Sultan in 1758). Lunch is provided at a local restaurant. Afterwards drive east to the beautiful Prambanan Temple, this UNESCO World Heritage Sites is a Hindu Temple Complex, constructed in 9th century dedicated to the Hindu Trinity. Drive back to Yogyakarta before dusk and let’s explore the way locals do! Take a short becak ride (Tricycle) from the iconic Tugu, the guide will tell sights and stories along the way, chance to taste local Javanese foods & snacks sold at streetside eateries. A truly local experience and you will be well-fed! 

Note: Timing of cultural activities in Sultan Palace is subject to change. Should you have special dietary requirements, please advise in advance, most of Javanese foods & snacks are sweetish, if you have sensitive taste bud and not adventurous enough, dinner will be served at the hotel.

Embark on a train ride to East Java, transfer to railway-station to catch “Sancaka Express” at 06.30 in Jombang. As we travel comfortably in an air-condition wagon in reserves seats, some train-attendant offers food and drinks along the journey. Enjoy the beautiful countryside views from the windows before disembarking in Jombang at 10.18, continue by car to Bromo with lunch en route. Check in at hotel in Bromo

Rise early and driven by 4x4 (Jeep) to Penanjakan Viewpoint (or other viewing platform near by) to wait for veautiful sunrise cracking up from the eastern range of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park (weather allows). Afterwards drive further down to the savanna and sand sea, next walk across the sand sea to reach the staircases leading up to the rimcrater of Bromo. If you wish climb up and enjoy another beautiful view from a top. Back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and hot shower. Lunch is provided en route. A panoramic sightseeing tour around Surabaya’s old quarter is organized before checking in at the hotel

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for morning flight will take you to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, upon arrival, our guide will greet and take you to discover Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, visiting Fort Rotterdam and Pao Tere, traditional harbor. Check in at the hotel in Makassar. After a brief rest, enjoy seafood dinner at a local restaurant in Makassar.

Check out from hotel in makassar and proceed immediately to Toraja, a long day of travel approximately 8 hours passing lovely countryside, ricefields and limestone hills with traditional houses of Bugis people, built on stilt. Lunch stop in Pare Pare, a tiny town birthplace of B.J Habibie, Indonesia’s third President. Another coffee break is provided in Puncak Lakawan with beautiful mountain view. Late afternoon expected to reach Rantepao, where we will stay for overnight for the next few days.

These two days have been set aside to explore this fascinating regions, let our guide assist you to organize the visit the places, as well as the local happenings such as traditional ceremonies, local schools or weekly cattle markets. Main objects such as Lemo, Londa, Kete’ Ke’su, Nanggala and Batutumonga are included.

Take two connecting flights from Rantepao in Toraja (or Palopo, 2,5 hours from Rantepao) to Bali via Makassar. Our Bali guide will greet you and transfer immediately to hotel of choice. The rest of the day is free at own leisure

Note: Long overland drive is also possible from Rantepao all the way to Makassar airport, in case the connecting time of both flights doesn’t work out. (Mandatory) Domestic flight from Rantepao (TTR) or Palopo (LLO) via Makassar (UPG) to Bali (DPS)

Touring to Ubud, visit Arma Museum which is dedicated to showcase the evolution of Balinese paintings style, thence stroll in Ubud Art Market and don’t forget to snap photo at the beautiful Saraswati Temple with its lotus temple, enjoying lunch at local restaurant in Ubud. Afternoon is spent exploring Tirta Empul, a holy spring temple and Pura Gunung Kawi, ancient monuments dedicated for the deceased Kings, beautifully carved out in the rock

After breakfast, explore Bali’s eastern region featuring Besakih Temple, most sacred and largest temple on the island, situated on the slope of Mount Agung. Visit Tenganan Village, a authentic village that still upholds to the original Bali Aga traditions, ceremonies and rules of ancient Balinese, and its unique layout and architecture. Stop off in Klungkung to visit Kertagosa, a royal ancient justice court with some beautiful paintings on its ceiling

A day of leisure to enjoy the hotel, relaxing by the pool, get traditional massage or just strolling on the beach, your choice! 

Breakfast at the resort, normal check out time (1200 noon). Transfer to airport to catch homebound flight. End of our service!
