Departure to Cape Jervis to take the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Once on the island, head to your accommodation, situated in the west of the island near Finder Chase National Park.

Kangaroo Island is indeed a spectacular place, where you can find rocks overlooking a stormy sea, calm beaches, a blue ocean, vast eucaliptus woodlands, sheltered bays and hidden coves. Echidnas, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and penguins live on the island, and they are also willing to be approached, making this experience really unique.

You'll continue on your self drive tour to Robe. We recommend to stop and visit the imposing caves declared Unesco World Heritage Site in Naracoorte National Park where you can admire the fossil skeletons of enormous marsupials in 26 calcareous grottoes. Arrival in the picturesque town of Robe. Check in, dinner at leisure and overnight.

In the morning you will leave towards Great Ocean Road. During the trip it is recommended to stop at Mount Gamber to admire quaint Blue Lake.

You'll leave behind the first stretch of Great Ocean Road reaching Apollo Bay, where the 12 Apostles, majestic stacks in calcareous stone rise from the waters of the ocean. On calmest days you will be able to see the 12 Apostles taking on a warm yellow hue as if they were touched by the rays of sun.

Once in Melbourne you will deliver the car which will not be used in the following days in the city. Transfer to the hotel on your own.

Next destination is Gipsy Point, a picturesque town almost on the border betwenn Victoria and New South Wales: here you can relax and rest before leaving again.

Sydney is beyond doubts the most famous Australian metropolis in the world. Endless skyscrapers facing the bay, pink sunsets and the iconic Opera House on the background, green lush parks right downtown. Once there you will be amazed by the beauty of the city.
