After breakfast we set off to Jerash, the Pompeii of the East. We will enter the city via the southern monumental door. We’ll walk in the oval plaza sorrounded by columns. We’ll visit the Roman theatre and the Bizantine churches with mosaic pavements. We’ll walk along the main street of the city called “Cardo”, later you’ll be able to experience the amazing acoustics of the theatre, which also serves as a stage for Jerash’s music festival. You’ll see in person how the romans have built the anti-seismic columns.

Later you’ll set off to Ajloun, where the visit of the old islamich castle will take place. Here the troops of Saladin protected the region from the crusaders. Back to Amman to explore the city known in acient times as “Rabbat Ammoun”. The visit will include the citadel, the roman ruins and theatre and the old Souq. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Amman.

Next up is Mount Nebo. If you are lucky and the skies are clear, you’ll have the chance to experience a great view on the dead sea, the jordan river valley and Jericho.

The tour continues to the kings’ road to visit Kerak, the capital city of the ancient kingdom of Maob. Kerak is famous for his castle, the biggest and best preserved castle in the region. It’s a typical example of the crusaders’ architecture with stone vaults and many corridors.

Off to Petra for dinner and overnight stay in the Hotel.

After breakfast we’ll start the visit of Petra, no visit of Jordan is complete without visiting the old capital of the Nabatean. The lost city of Petra, carved by the man in the pink and red mountains it’s a stunning view. The amazing natural scenery is mixed with the architecture and culture of the nabateans. It’s no surprise that UNESCO put this city in the list of the of the World Heritage. At the end of the visits back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we are headed to the “little Petra”. This town was used to built to allow a stop for the caravans en route to Syria and Egypt. The next stop is the Wadi Rum, where old lakes, great mountains and red dunes will provide a breathtaking view. Option 2h 4x4 jeep activity.

Free day on the Dead Sea, here the salted water, very rich in minerals and the natural springs offer a natural remedy for body and soul. Next stop is Amman for dinner and overnight in hotel.
