South Africa and Mozambique tour - Safari, sea and snorkeling holiday

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a staff representative for your transfer to Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront for your amazing three-night stay. Kick off your shoes, relax in the hotel’s heated rim-flow pool with a cocktail in hand and relax on the terrace whilst taking in breathtaking views over the ocean. Overnight at the hotel. 

Set off on a guided Cape Peninsula tour. The trip begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic Coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. Continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. Here there is the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island (for own account & time permitting) to view the Cape Fur seals that inhabit the island.

Travel from here to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, which comprises over 17 300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you have the chance to see a variety of wildlife including baboons, Rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra, Bontebok and the elusive Eland. The reserve is also one of the world's largest breeding grounds for tortoises. Bird-watchers, too, will encounter many fine species along the way.

Following the coastline along False Bay, the peninsula tour returns to Cape Town by way of Simon's Town, visiting the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (for own account), Fish Hoek fishing village, and Muizenberg. Before arriving back in the city, stop at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of the beautiful gardens. Return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial and the Groote Schuur Hospital. Overnight at your hotel, breakfast included. 

Take this day in your stride to explore the beauty of Cape Town’s city. Consider a ferry ride to Robben Island, marvel in the views from atop Table Mountain, indulge in exciting shopping at the V&A Waterfront, ending your day off with a carefully designed meal complimented by a glass of award-winning South African wine at one of Cape Town’s many renowned restaurants. After breakfast, you will be met for your transfer to Cape Town International Airport for the onward flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Upon arrival at KMIA, a transfer to the magical bushveld awaits where three nights at Dulini Private Game Reserve within Kruger Park offer a classic safari experience for the sophisticated traveller. Depending on time of arrival, depart on an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Dulini Private Game Reserve. Breakfast and dinner included.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your onward flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique. A boat transfer will then take you to Dugong Beach Lodge for your three-night stay. This is a piece of paradise located on the southern Mozambique coast within the “Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary”. With the lodge situated in 30 000 hectares of pristine marine and wildlife territories, discover the magnificent area on foot with a lingering beach walk, to ease into complete relaxation.
