Meeting of participants in Bellagio at 09.00 and departure with minibus / private bus to Cadenabbia, a fraction of Griante. Time to visit the majestic Villa Carlotta and its park; Villa Carlotta's park is a place of great charm, not only for its panoramic position, but also for the harmonious combinationof styles, the richness of literary suggestions that make it an unmissable destination for those who come to Lake Como. There is the large Italian garden from the 17th century with geometric cut hedges, balustrades, statues and water games; the structure of the English garden belongs to the Romantic period, rich in precious trees of exceptional proportions and of great suggestions; at the end of the 19th century, the great plant architecture of the massive rhododendrons was started.
At 11 am, at the end of the visit, continue to Menaggio, a small town with a central square with cafés and shops and a beautiful promenade offering a unique panorama of the lake. Time to relax, take walks, and enjoy the panorama. At 11.30 am leave for Lierna through the panoramic road that runs through the lake, and time to eat. At the end of the lunch continue to Varenna and visit its historic center that starts from Piazza Giorgio in front of the Church devoted to the Saint, the ancient Roman Forum, and which goes down the narrow lanes and stairs to the lakeshore. Bars, restaurants and shops overlook the promenade where the footpath suspended on the lake begins, called the "walk of love" that takes us to the dock at the northernmost part of Varenna.
At the end of the visit, at 3.30, departure to Lecco and time to visit the city; Lecco is known mainly for the novel The Betrothed, the first novel in Italian literature written by Alessandro Manzoni. But in addition to "that branch of Lake Como ..." in Lecco there is more. History and culture intertwine and we can discover them thanks to civic museums.
Walking through the streets of the center we breathe the neoclassical style of Bovara, which has left its elegant footprint, which mixes with the remains of the fortified village, starting from the Azzone Visconti bridge. But we can say with absolute certainty that a unique and great value is the natural landscape that Lecco offers: the lake set amidst the mountains. At the end of the visit, you can have an aperitif at one of the beautiful Malgrate cafès. At 17.00, departure for the return to Bellagio, through the panoramic road that runs along the right side of Lake.
