Today you'll participate in a city tour of Santiago, the capital of Chile.

You'll start in "Cerro Santa Lucia", where Santiago was founded. You'll visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Correo and Santiago's City Hall. You can admire the old and new buildings of the city, and then you'll end the tour in an artisanal shop where you'll taste the famous Pisco Sour (a typical Chilean cocktail).

Today you will participate in an excursion called "El Frutillar".

You'll start from the city of Llanquihue, famous for its delicious sausages. You'll visit the Monument for German Immigrants and the Llanquihue Lake, through the "Frutillar" pathway.
This city's building are similar to the ones in Bavaria, because of its strong German presence: it has been both a center for a tannery, a mill and a brewery. 
You can have an optional visit to the German Colonial Museum, that depicts the life of the colonizers and the social influence they had on the city or visit the Lake Theatre.

The day is free for your leisure and to explore the National Park of Torres del Paine, depending on which activities your hotel offers.

Explore this huge National Park: during the summer, the sun shines for more than 17 hours, and at dawn everything is painted red and purple.
You can sail on the Lake Grey to admire the glaciers, or just admire the lcoal animals, like the fox, the huemules (a deer species) or the guanacos (a llama species). You could even see the famous puma!
